GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Westminster men's and women's cross country teams competed in the Grove City Invitational on Friday.
The Titan women were led by junior
Sadie Cunningham (Webster, NY / Webster Thomas), who finished in fourth-place with a time of 21:36:37, followed by sophomore
Cherise Schultz (Home, PA / Marion Center) who clocked in at 23:27:60. Junior Mackenize Rodarmel (Montoursville, PA / Loyalsock Township) finished with a time of 23:27:60. Rounding out the Titan women runners were senior
Kelly Somora (Grove City, PA / Grove City), who clocked in at 24:45:96, and sophomore
Bailey Kasbee (Stoneboro, PA / Lakeview) finishing at 26:00:73.
The Titan men were led by sophomore
Joe Somora (Grove City, PA / Grove City) who placed tenth with a time of 18:34:19, followed by first-year
Joseph Hill (Latrobe, PA / Greater Latrobe) clocking in at 19:04:57, good for 16th place. Senior
Nathan Kraus (New Castle, PA / Shenango) finished with a time of 19:15:43 at 18th place. Coming in at 19:29:36 was junior
Ian Jackson (Neshannock, PA / Neshannock). Rounding out the Titan men were sophomores
Caden Harsh (Pittsburgh, PA / Baldwin) at 20:40:43 and
Ryan Armstrong (Pocono Summit, PA / Pocono Mountain West) at 20:51:28, along with first-year
Blake Wilt (Lakewood, OH / Lakewood) clocking in at 22:16:02.
Westminster is back on the course Saturday, October 9 as it travels to New Castle, Pa. to compete in the Bill Lennox Invitational. Start time is scheduled for 12:30 p.m.
