HILTON HEAD, S.C. - The Westminster College women's tennis team lost, 8-1, against non-conference opponent Carroll University on Monday in Hilton Head, South Carolina.

Westminster (13-4) claimed one singles victory in the No. 6 singles slot courtesy of senior Alex Marzouca (Kingston, Jamaica / Immaculate Conception) by a score of 6-2, 2-2. Marzouca earned the victory after her opponent retired mid-match. Carroll (8-5) picked up the rest of the victories in singles matches and swept the doubles competition.

Westminster will be back in tomorrow when it continues its Spring Break trip with a matchup against Penn State Harrisburg.
