GAMBIER, Ohio - The Westminster College women's lacrosse team opened their 2020 season with a 19-2 defeat at Kenyon College on Saturday afternoon.
Kenyon (1-0) opened the game with a 10-0 run, before Westminster (0-1) got on the board courtesy of first-year
Stephanie Cimini (Mars, PA / Mars Area), who scored her first career goal off of an assist from junior
Michaela Hays (Blairsville, PA / Blairsville). In the second half, the Lords increased their lead to 19-1 before Hays tacked on an unassisted goal of her own in the closing minutes of the game.

Emma Bradley (South Fayette, PA / South Fayette) recorded a game-high nine saves in a complete-game effort, while senior
Bria Braddock (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) led the way with a game-high four ground balls. Braddock also had a team-high two caused turnovers and a game-high seven draw controls.
Westminster is back in action Saturday, February 22 for its home-opener against West Virginia Wesleyan at 2 p.m.
