NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College women's tennis team won, 5-0, over the University of Pittsburgh at Greensburg at home on Thursday.
The duo of Titan sophomores
Julia Serbati (Oil City, PA / Oil City Area) and
Casey Barton (New York City, NY / Dominican Academy) won no. 1 doubles, 8-3.
The match was played to decision due to the weather. The Titans improved to 11-6 overall, while the Bobcats dropped to 1-14. The Titan men's match versus Pitt-Greensburg was postponed because of the rain.
The Titan women next play at home against Allegheny College on Monday, April 1 at 4 p.m. The Titan men are back in action Friday, March 29 at Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Saint Vincent College at 1 p.m.
