HIRAM, Ohio – The Westminster College women's lacrosse team won, 19-6, over Hiram College on the road Saturday afternoon.
Westminster (4-1) and Hiram (2-6) traded goals early in the first half. The Titans scored six-straight goals to take a 7-1 lead at the 16:20 mark. The Terriers would get two goals to cut the lead to four, until the Titans scored four more goals to extend their lead to 11-3 (4:42). Hiram scored another goal before halftime to make the score 11-4. Junior
Bria Braddock (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) was responsible for six of Westminster's goals.
The Titans continued where they left off with four-straight goals in the second half to take a 15-4 lead at the 16:47 mark. Westminster outscored Hiram 4-2 for the remainder of the game.
Braddock led the game with nine goals, while also recording an assist and four ground balls. Braddock has now registered double-digit points in consecutive contests and leads the team with 36 points on the season, including team-highs in goals (29) and assists (6). Titan senior
Emily D'Amico (Moon Township, PA / Moon Area) scored five goals, to go along with an assist and five ground balls. Junior
Margo Mason (Pittsburgh, PA / Chartiers Valley) led the game in both assists and ground balls with three and nine, respectively, while also adding four goals. Junior
Romie Schweickert (Hiram, OH / Crestwood) also scored a goal, while classmate
Michaela Hays (Blairsville, PA / Blairsville) added an assist and two ground balls.

Emma Bradley (South Fayette, PA / South Fayette) earned five saves in the win.
The Titans led in shots (41-11), ground balls (26-11), draw controls (18-9), and free position shots (18-4).
The Titans' next game will be at home against Ohio Valley University (WV) Sunday, March 24 at 2 p.m.
