WASHINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College men's soccer team's contest at Washington and Jefferson ended in a 1-1 stalemate on Saturday.

Ahmed Cisse (Germantown, MD / Clarksburg) to give Westminster a 1-0 lead. The Presidents responded ten minutes later with a goal of their own to knot the game up at 1-1.
Neither team was able to score again in regulation, which sent the game to overtime. In double overtime, Cisse nearly gave the Titans the victory when his shot hit the crossbar in the 105
th minute. Cisse's shot was the best chance for either team in the overtime periods, as the game ended in a 1-1 tie.
The Titans bested the Presidents in shots (20-16) and led in corner kicks (8-5).

Westminster will return to the pitch on Friday, Oct. 11 when it takes on Thiel College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup on the road. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
