NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College men's soccer team lost their non-conference matchup against Case Western Reserve University by a score of 4-1 at home on Monday night.
Case Western Reserve (6-5-4, 0-2-2 UAA) got on the board first when it scored in the 10
th minute. Westminster (10-6-2, 5-0-2 PAC) responded with a goal of its own in the 24
th minute when senior forward
Peter Mattocks (Saegertown, PA / Saegertown) scored off of a corner kick from senior forward
Ahmed Cisse (Germantown, MD / Clarksburg) to knot the game up at 1-1. Case Western scored again in the 33
rd minute and took a 2-1 lead into halftime. The Spartans went on to score twice in the second half to seal the victory.
The Spartans out shot the Titans (18-9) and led in corner kicks (6-1).

Ezra Cimino (Brookline, MA / Waldorf) corralled six saves in the complete-game effort.
Westminster will return to the pitch on Saturday, Nov. 2 when it takes on Geneva in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup at home. Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m.
