ALFRED, New York – The Westminster College women's soccer team's contest at Alfred University ended in a 1-1 stalemate on Wednesday night.
Westminster (6-4-1, 1-0 PAC) struck immediately when senior
Kayla Trozzi (Monroeville, PA / Gateway) notched her eighth goal of the season off a double touch from senior
Kiki Kawarizadeh (New Albany, OH / New Albany) and sophomore
Reagan Olson (Delaware, OH / Rutherford B. Hayes) to give the Titans a 1-0 lead just 1:45 into the game. The Titans took that 1-0 lead into halftime.
In the second half, Alfred (4-3-3, 0-1-1 EMPIRE 8) notched the equalizing goal in the 83
rd minute to tie the game. The game went to overtime and double overtime, where neither team was able to break through, thus ending the game in a 1-1 tie. Alfred outshot the Titans (25-10) and led in corner kicks (10-3).

Westminster will return to the pitch on Saturday when it takes on Washington and Jefferson in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup on the road. Kickoff is scheduled for 1 p.m.
