GREENVILLE, Pa. – Four different Titans scored in the Westminster College women's soccer team's 4-0 win at Thiel College on Friday.
Westminster improved to 7-5-2 overall and 2-0-1 in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC). The Titans have outscored their PAC opponents 8-0 this year. Overall, Friday marked Westminster's fifth shutout of the season. Thiel dropped to 4-8 overall and 0-3 in league play.
Titan junior
Skylar Bryant (Boardman, OH / Boardman) scored the first goal of the contest, and her first of the season, in the 33
rd minute. The 1-0 Westminster lead remained the same at halftime.
Senior
Gabrielle Diamond (Moon Township, PA / Moon) found sophomore
Reagan Olson (Delaware, OH / Rutherford B. Hayes) in the 46
th minute of the second half. Four minutes later, first-year
Julia Redilla (Harmony, PA / Seneca Valley) extended Westminster's lead to 3-0, after receiving a pass from senior
Kayla Trozzi (Monroeville, PA / Gateway). Junior
Bailey Kurdys (Toledo, OH / Whitmer) added a goal in the 59
th minute for her first goal of the season.
Titan sophomore goalkeeper
Camille Holzschuh (Youngstown, OH / Boardman) earned the win in 57 minutes of work.
Westminster will host Grove City College on Wednesday, Oct. 16 at 7:30 p.m. in a PAC Championship rematch from a season ago.
