ERIE, Pa. – The Westminster College women's tennis team shut out Penn State Behrend, 9-0, on the road Monday.
 
The Titans improved to 3-3 on the year, while the Lions dropped to 0-8.
 
Junior Alex Marzouca (Kingston, Jamaica / Immaculate Conception) (no. 2), sophomore Julia Serbati (Oil City, PA / Oil City Area) (no. 3), sophomore Casey Barton (New York City, NY / Dominican Academy) (no. 4), and junior Allyson Gitzen (Pittsburgh, PA / North Hills) (no. 6) all earned complete shutouts in singles.
 
Westminster will next compete Thursday, September 27 at conference foe Waynesburg University at 4 p.m.
