PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Westminster College men's lacrosse team won, 15-7, at Chatham University in Ohio River Lacrosse Conference (ORLC) action on Saturday.
Westminster (5-5, 3-3 ORLC) shut out Chatham (6-6, 2-5 ORLC), 5-0, after the first quarter and led 7-1 at halftime. The Cougars outscored the Titans, 4-3, in the third, cutting Westminster's lead to 10-5. That would be the closest Chatham would get as the Titans finished strong with a 5-2 advantage in the final frame.

Shane Fisher (Palm Harbor, FL / East Lake) found the back of the net at the 7:55 mark of the second quarter. The Cougars scored their first goal of the game less than a minute later off the stick of Dillon Dugan (7:17).
Junior
Ryan Shorts (Village, CA / Oak Park) led the Titans with four goals. Shorts now has 14 goals on the season, tying for second-most on the team. Sophomore
Dante Serra (Center Valley, PA / Southern Lehigh) and Fisher each registered three goals. Also tallying multiple goals for Westminster was sophomore
Adrian Culp (Gaithersburg, MD / Quince Orchard) with two.

Carter Hall (Zeeland, MI / Zeeland West) collected 16 saves in a complete-game effort.
Westminster edged Chatham in shots-on-goal, 24-23, while the Cougars held an advantage in ground balls, 25-20. Sophomore
Steven Knight (Wyckoff, NJ / Ramapo) led the Titans with six ground balls – tying a career-best. Serra added three ground balls.
The Titans will next host Grove City College in an ORLC contest Wednesday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m.
