LAKELAND, Fla. – The Westminster College women's lacrosse team fell to non-conference Division II opponent Florida Southern College on Saturday afternoon.
The Mocs won, 20-0. Westminster fell to 0-1 on the season, while Florida Southern improved to 6-0.

Alexandria Applin (Beavercreek Township, OH / Beavercreek) led the team in shots with two. Sophomore
Bria Braddock (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) and first-year goalkeeper
Matalyn Holland (Canonsburg, PA / Canon-McMillan) each recorded a team-high three ground balls. Holland collected nine saves at the net. Braddock also registered a team-high three draw controls.
Westminster is back on the field Saturday, March 17 at Bryn Athyn College in Bryn Athyn, PA. Start time is set for 12 p.m.
