Men’s Soccer: Titans Dominate in 9-0 Win Against Carlow

PITTSBURGH, Pa. – The Westminster College men's soccer team won, 9-0, over Carlow University in non-conference action on Saturday. The game took place at Highmark Stadium.
 
The Titans led 4-0 at halftime and scored five more goals in the second frame.
 
Freshman Nick Iregui (Gig Harbor, WA / Charles Wright Academy) earned a hat trick and now has a team-high eight goals on the season.
 
Senior Kornel Foremski (Shaker Heights, OH / Shaker Heights), senior Jon Clark (New Wilmington, PA / Wilmington), senior Fedja Smajic (Pittsburgh, PA / Baldwin), junior Justin Brandt (Ellicott City, MD / Archbishop Spalding), junior Shane Fallen (Blue Bell, PA / Wissahickon), and freshman Noah West (Pittsburgh, PA / Mt. Lenanon) each added a goal.
 
Westminster outshot Carlow, 20-6.
 
Titan junior goalkeeper AJ Bove (New Stanton, PA / Hempfield Area) earned the shutout win.
 
Westminster is back in action for its Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opener on Tuesday, October 3 at Waynesburg University at 8 p.m.
