NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College women's tennis team shut out Franciscan University of Steubenville in its Senior Day match on Saturday.
The Titans improved to 15-4 overall, while the Barons dropped to 14-5.
Titan junior
Gabriele Eaborn (Coraopolis, PA / West Allegheny) won number one singles, 6-1, 6-4, and teamed up with senior
Sydney Sterner (Imperial, PA / West Allegheny) for an 8-6 win at number one doubles.
Seniors
Stephanie Homitz (New Brighton, PA / New Brighton),
Mariah Turiano (Hollidaysburg, PA / Hollidaysburg),
Christijana Vucenovic (West Middlesex, PA / West Middlesex), and Sterner were all recognized.
Westminster closes out the regular reason on Thursday, April 20 with a non-conference match at Allegheny College at 3:30 p.m.
