NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College baseball team lost, 23-3, to Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Washington & Jefferson College in a home nine-inning game on Wednesday.
Washington & Jefferson (13-3, 8-0 PAC) led 5-3 after three innings of play and went on to score 18 unanswered runs for the remainder of the game.
The Presidents outhit the Titans 21-11. Junior

Michael Douds (Erie, PA / Cathedral Prep) led Westminster with two hits each. Douds had a team-best two RBIs, while senior
Tyler Bommer (Renfrew, PA / Seneca Valley) had one. Freshman
Jared Lee (Lordstown,OH / Lordstown), sophomore
Ben Canty (Pittsburgh, PA / Keystone Oaks), and sophomore
Hunter Alexander (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) each recorded a double for the Titans. Titan freshman pitcher
Emilio Rivera (Tampa, FL / Armwood) (0-1) threw one inning, while giving up two runs (one earned) on two hits. He struck out two and walked one.
Westminster (5-15, 2-7 PAC) is next scheduled to host Thiel in a nine-inning game on Friday, April 7 at 4 p.m.
