WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team lost on the road, 1-0, Saturday afternoon to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opponent Washington & Jefferson College.
Westminster fell to 10-6 overall and 5-2 in the PAC, while W&J improved to 10-5-1 overall and 5-2 in the PAC.
The lone goal of the game was scored by President Jordan Toohey in the 11
th minute. Toohey received a corner kick from Josie Madden and scored in the near post off a deflection.

Keely Birsic (North Ridgeville, OH / Elyria Catholic) led all Titans in shots with two, while Titan sophomores
Maura Belding (Columbiana, OH / Crestview) and
Kaelyn Puhalla (Youngstown, OH / Austintown-Fitch) each finished with one shot on goal.
The Titans were out-shot, 16-8, for the game, but led in corner kicks, 4-2. Westminster senior goalkeeper
Laura Page (Bethel Park, PA / Bethel Park) finished with five saves in 90 minutes of work.
Westminster is back in action Tuesday, October 24 in a PAC showdown at Thomas More College. Thomas More currently sits tied for first in the PAC standings, while Westminster sits tied for third. Start time is set for 4:30 p.m.
