CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. - The Westminster College women's soccer team lost on the road to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opponent Thomas More College, 2-1, on Tuesday.
Westminster dropped to 10-7 overall and 5-3 in the PAC, while Thomas More, who was No. 3 in the Great Lakes region, improved to 12-4-1 overall and 7-1 in the PAC.

th minute, as Olivia Nienaber took it herself to give the Saints a 1-0 lead. In the 35

Alexandria Applin (Beavercreek Township, OH / Beavercreek) received a pass from fellow first-year teammate
Marissa Grande (Hubbard, OH / Hubbard) and dribbled 25 yards until reaching the penalty box. Applin's first attempt was blocked by the goalie, but Applin recollected the ball and scored to tie the game, 1-1.
In the 66
th minute, Thomas More's Abby Stadmiller netted the eventual game winner for the Saints (2-1).
Titan junior
Keely Birsic (North Ridgeville, OH / Elyria Catholic) led the team in shots with four, while also having a team-high two shots on goal. Westminster sophomore
Kayla Trozzi (Monroeville, PA / Gateway) tallied two shots, including one on goal. Titan senior goalkeeper
Laura Page (Bethel Park, PA / Bethel Park) finished the game with four saves in 90 minutes of work.
Thomas More outshot Westminster, 20-11, including 11-4 in the second half. The Saints also led in corner kicks, 5-3.
Westminster is back in action at home on Saturday, October 28. Westminster will be honoring three Titan seniors prior to the match. Start time is for the match is set for 11:30 a.m.
