NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College men's soccer team shutout Alfred University, 3-0, at home on Saturday.
 
Sophomore Justin Brandt (Elliott City, MD / Archbishop Spalding) registered the first goal of the game at the 27:19 mark. Senior Jon Clark (New Wilmington, PA / Wilmington) earned the assist.
 
In the second half, sophomore Shane Fallen (Blue Bell, PA / Wissahickon) extended the Titans' lead to 2-0 with a score at the 61:59 mark; freshman Peter Mattocks (Saegertown, PA / Saegertown) found Fallen in the box. Brandt added his second goal of the game at the 65:52 mark after he blocked Alfred goalie's attempt to clear it.
 
Westminster will next play at Penn State Altoona on Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 8 p.m.
