CRESTVIEW HILLS, Ky. – The Westminster College baseball team was swept at Thomas More College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) doubleheader on Saturday.
The Titans lost game one, 10-2, and game two, 10-6.
In game one, Thomas More (18-6, 12-1 PAC) scored five runs in the fourth inning, three in the fifth, and two in the sixth. Westminster scored its two runs in the top of the fourth inning; junior

Kellen Gursky (Greenville, PA / Reynolds) on a sacrifice fly. Senior
Kyle Borton (Mineral Ridge, OH / Mineral Ridge) (1-5) pitched 2.1 innings, while giving up five runs on six hits and walked three. Sophomore
Joseph Salmen (New Castle, PA / Union) registered a double.
In the second game, the game was tied, 6-6, going into the bottom of the sixth inning. Thomas More pulled away after scoring four runs in the sixth. Coyne led the Titan offense with two hits, including an RBI. Ferlin and Baummer each registered a double. Junior
Nate McMaster (Stow, OH / Stow-Munroe Falls) (0-6) threw 5.1 innings, while giving up ten runs (eight earned) on 11 hits. McMaster recorded three strikeouts and four walks.
Westminster (2-23, 0-13 PAC) will play a nine-inning game at Thomas More on Sunday, April 17, starting at 12 p.m.
