FORT PIERCE, Fla. - The Westminster College baseball team was unable to hold onto a 5-1 lead and lost 8-5 to Lebanon Valley College in its second game of its Florida trip on Sunday.

Tied 1-1 after one inning, Westminster (0-2) took a 5-1 lead after four runs in the second. Senior
Ryan Dunn (Freeport, PA / Freeport) led the offensive surge with a two-RBI single, scoring freshman
Joseph Salmen (New Castle, PA / Union) and junior
Jared Baummer (Reynoldsville, PA / Dubois). The Dutchmen, after scoring two runs in the second, took their first lead of the game (6-5) with three runs in the sixth. Lebanon Valley added insurance with two runs in the seventh.

Kyle Borton (Mineral Ridge, OH / Mineral Ridge) (0-1) pitched six innings, while giving up six runs (five earned) on 11 hits. He struck out three batters and walked one.

For the game, Lebanon Valley out-hit Westminster, 13-9. Dunn, junior
Sean Coyne (New Castle, PA / New Castle), and Salmen each had multiple hits for the Titans.

Westminster will continue its Florida trip on Tuesday with a 10 a.m. game against Widener University.
