FORT PIERCE, Fla. – The Westminster College baseball team lost both of its games against Kenyon College in a doubleheader during its Florida trip on Thursday. The Titans lost, 9-6, in 11 innings in game one and lost 3-0 in game two.

In game one, Kenyon (3-3) led 5-1 after three innings of play. In the bottom of the fourth, Titan freshman Nick Ford (Forest Hill, MD / North Harford) scored classmate Travis Lauster (Slippery Rock, PA / Slippery Rock), while junior Sean Coyne (New Castle, PA / New Castle) scored on a passed ball, cutting Kenyon's lead to 5-3. In the sixth, Westminster senior Ryan Dunn (Freeport, PA / Freeport) scored on a wild pitch and freshman Hunter Alexander (Beaver Falls, PA / Blackhawk) scored junior Jared Baummer (Reynoldsville, PA / Dubois) on a fielder's choice, tying the game 5-5.
