Men’s Soccer: Titans End Season on High Note on Senior Day

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College men's soccer team finished its 2016 season with a 1-0 win over Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Waynesburg University at home on Senior Day Saturday afternoon.
 
Titan sophomore Shane Fallen (Blue Bell, PA / Wissahickon) scored the lone goal of the game, his second on the season, in the 36th minute of the first half. Junior Zack Walters (Hermitage, PA / Hickory) earned the assist.
 
Waynesburg (4-12-1, 2-5-1) out-shot Westminster, 16-13. The Titans held a 9-7 shots-on-goal and a 4-3 corner kick advantage.
 
Titan sophomore AJ Bove (New Stanton, PA / Hempfield Area) earned six saves in 90 minutes.
 
Westminster recognized seniors Ryan Meyerowich (Hermitage, PA / Hickory) and Jeremy Wiening (Trophy Club, TX / Byron Nelson) before the game.
 
Westminster concluded the season 6-7-4 overall and 3-3-2 in the PAC.
