Volleyball: Titans Shut Out Chatham on Senior Night

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College volleyball team won, 3-0, over Chatham University in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action at home Thursday evening for its senior night.
 
The Titans improved to 15-15 overall and 8-9 in the PAC, while the Cougars dropped to 8-22 overall and 4-13 in the conference.
 
In the first set, the Titans were down 18-14. Westminster cut Chatham's lead to 21-19 after first-year Molly Parker (North Huntingdon, PA / Norwin) found junior Lexie Yoho (Pittsburgh, PA / Our Lady of the Sacred Heart) for a kill. The Titans followed with a 6-0 run to win the set, 25-21. Yoho was responsible for three of Westminster's final six points (two block assists and a kill). Westminster sealed the victory after winning set two, 25-14, and set three, 25-18.
 
Yoho led the Titan offense with a match-high 10 kills, followed by junior Kendell Dickson (Cochranton, PA / Cochranton) (7) and senior Lauren Slater (Plum, PA / Oakland Catholic) (6). Yoho and senior Katie Pricener (Wilmerding, PA / Serra Catholic) registered a match-high three blocks apiece, while Slater added two. Sophomore Ashley Barker (Warren, PA / Warren Area) dished-out a team-high 18 assists, while first-year Molly Parker (North Huntingdon, PA / Norwin) earned 14. First-year Reilly DeGeorge (Ashtabula, OH / Saint John) added a match-high two service aces. Senior Megan Little (Slippery Rock, PA / Slippery Rock) led the Westminster defense with a match-high 20 digs, followed by Dickson (15) and DeGeorge (12).
 
Westminster will close out its regular season on Saturday, October 29 with a road match at Bethany College, starting at 1 p.m.
