NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – The Westminster College women's soccer team lost, 2-0, to Washington & Jefferson College in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action at home on Tuesday.
Westminster dropped to 9-7-2 overall and 5-3-0 in the PAC, while W&J improved to 13-3-2 overall and 7-1-0 in the conference.
Both goals occurred in the first half. Washington & Jefferson's Jordan Toohey scored the first goal in the 6
th minute; Ashton Grimm earned the assist. Toohey found Tatiana Ruzzini in the 24
th minute to extend the Presidents' lead to 2-0.

Maura Belding (Columbiana, OH / Crestview) each had a shot-on-goal.
The Presidents out-shot the Titans, 16-5, including 9-2 on-goal. W&J also held a 5-2 advantage in corner kicks.

Ashley Smialek (Chicago, IL / Marist) collected a career-high seven saves in 90 minutes.
Westminster is back in action Saturday, October 29 for its Senior Day and regular season finale with a 3:30 p.m. match against Waynesburg University.
