NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. – Titan sophomore
Kendell Dickson (Cochranton, PA / Conchranton) registered career-highs in points (12) and rebounds (9) in the Westminster College women's basketball team's 83-55 loss to Washington & Jefferson College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest Wednesday night.
Washington & Jefferson (13-3, 8-1 PAC) had its largest run of seven points after it extended its 15-8 lead to 22-8 with 3:02 remaining in the first quarter. The Presidents led 28-13 at the end of the first and held a 45-30 halftime lead. W&J led 65-39 at the end of the third quarter. The Presidents had their largest lead of the game of 31 with 55 seconds remaining in the game.
Westminster (1-15, 1-8 PAC) had three players score in double-digits, led by sophomore
Kristine Fromknecht (Erie, PA / McDowell) with 14 points. After Dickson's 12, sophomore
Kylie Cook (Pittsburgh, PA / Mount Lebanon) had 11 points. Sophomore
Danielle Dindak (West Homestead, PA / Serra Catholic) added eight points. Cook and Dindak had seven and four rebounds, respectively. Sophomore
Paige Quinn (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler) tied a game-high with a team-best four assists.
The Titans are back on the court Saturday when it travels to Chatham University for a 1 p.m. matchup.
