LATROBE, Pa. – The Westminster College women's basketball team lost, 69-47, at Saint Vincent College in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Saturday.
Saint Vincent (7-4, 2-2 PAC) out-scored Westminster (0-10, 0-4 PAC) 9-4 in the first quarter and 24-12 in the second. The Bearcats led 33-16 at halftime and out-scored the Titans 36-31 in the final two quarters.
Sophomore Ashley McConahy (New Wilmington, PA / Ellwood City) led the Titan offense with a season-high nine points. Sophomore Kristine Fromknecht (Erie, PA / McDowell) and classmate Kylie Cook (Pittsburgh, PA / Mount Lebanon) each scored eight points. Sophomore Paige Quinn (Pittsburgh, PA / Shaler) had a game- and season-high five assists. Cook matched a career-high with a team-high 10 rebounds. Fromknecht pocketed a team- and season-high four steals.
Westminster will next host Grove City College on Wednesday, Jan. 6, at 6 p.m.
