Hiram cut into Westminster's lead with a 30-yard field goal with 9:42 to play in the third quarter.
Dahl extended Westminster's lead to 10-3 with a 40-yard field goal with 3:13 remaining in the game. The distance was Dahl's second longest of his career.
Sophomore
Kimu Kim (Canfield, OH / Canfield) added insurance for Westminster with a career-long 53-yard run up the middle. Dahl's point-after-touchdown put the Titans in front 17-3 with 1:31 remaining in regulation.
The Terriers added a late touchdown as time expired.
Columbo went 12 of 21 with 117 yards, including three interceptions and a score. Titan sophomore
Dominique McKinley (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg-Salem) ran for a game-high 95 yards off 16 carries (5.9 avg.) McKinley and senior
Cody Alward (Pittsburgh, PA / Keystone Oaks) tied for a team-high three receptions.
Titan junior
Mac Quinn (Pittsburgh, PA / Northgate) led the defense with a game- and career-high nine tackles, including 1.5 tackles for a loss. He added two break ups. Sophomore
CJ Armstrong (Lake Worth, FL / Park Vista) followed with six tackles, including 1.5 sacks. Quinn and Armstrong each added a forced fumble, both of which the Titans recovered.Â
For the game, Hiram led 399-281 in total offense.
Hiram's Alec Wells was 26 of 47 for 233 yards, including an interception and a score. Nate Eaton of the Terriers registered game-highs in receptions (7) and receiving yards (81).
The Titans will next play at Washington & Jefferson College on Saturday, Sept. 12 at 7 p.m.
