PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Westminster College volleyball team (2-9, 1-0 PAC) won two matches in shutout fashion, including its first of the season, at the Chatham University Tri-Match on Tuesday.
The Titans won 3-0 (25-14 ,26-24, 25-15)Â against La Roche College (5-3) in match one and 3-0 (25-23, 25-5, 25-10)Â Â against Chatham (1-9, 0-3 PAC) in match two in their Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opener.

Lexie Yoho ( Pittsburgh, PA / Our Lady of the Sacred Heart) led the Titan offense against La Roche with eight kills. Sophomore
Callie Jacobs (Pittsburgh, PA / Bishop Canevin), senior
Megan Prybyl (Mars, PA / North Catholic), and junior Lauran Slater (New Kensington, PA / Oakland Catholic) added five kills each. First-year
Shanna Daniels (Edinburg, PA / Billy C. Ryan, TX) had a team-high nine assists. Four Titans registered double-digit digs, led by first-year
Rachel Moore (Greensburg, PA / Greensburg Central Catholic) with 27. Senior
Erin Kennedy (Oakmont, PA / Riverview) (18), Prybyl (17), and Daniels (11) were the other three. Yoho also had a team-high five blocks.
Westminster out-hit Chatham .406 to .027. Yoho and first-year
Delaney Saxton (Cortland, OH / Brookfield). Daniels and senior
Tiffany Jackson (Las Vegas, NV / Las Vegas) dished out 13 and eight assists, respectively. First-year
Nikki Beatty (Darlington, PA / Blackhawk) served a match-high five aces, while Daniels had four. Kennedy and senior
Kelsey Kilbane (Medina, OH / Medina) topped the Titan defense with eight digs each. Yoho once again led Westminster with three blocks.
The Titans are back on the court Saturday when they compete in the Thomas More College Tri-Match. Westminster will play Thomas More at 1 p.m. and Waynesburg University at 3 p.m.
