NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Sophomore
Brandon Domenick (New Castle, PA / New Castle) scored a career-high 17 points, guiding the Westminster College men's basketball team to a 94-59 win over Chatham University for the Titans' first win of the season Wednesday night. Tonight's game was also both teams' Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opener.
Leading 18-16 with 8:38 remaining in the first half, Westminster (1-5, 1-0 PAC) went on a 22-4 run to take its largest lead of the half (40-20) with 1:09 on the clock. The Titans led 41-24 over Chatham (0-6, 0-1 PAC) at halftime. Westminster maintained its double-digit lead for the remainder of the contest.
In addition to Domenick, four other Titans scored in double-digits. Sophomore
Deontay Scott (Youngstown, OH / East) scored a season-high 12 points, while junior
Jason Pilarski (Pittsburgh, PA / Brentwood), sophomore
Jarret Vrabel (Canfield, OH / Canfield), and junior
Matt Getsy (Mars, PA / Mars) each registered 11 points. Vrabel and senior
Charlie Wallander (Pittsburgh, PA / Baldwin) grabbed a game-high eight rebounds each. Vrabel added a game-high three blocks.

Paul Carswell (Painesville, OH / Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) and freshman
Austin Armwood (Westerville, OH / Westerville North) scored eight points each, while junior
Coty Gander (Jackson Center, PA / Lakeview) contributed with seven.
For the game, Westminster out-shot Chatham 59.3% (35-59) to 24.3% (18-74) and out-rebounded the Cougars 53-36.
Domenick was named the PAC Sports Network Player of the Game.
The Titans will next host Thomas More College on Saturday at 3:30 p.m.
