NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team lost, 6-0, at home to Penn State Behrend in a non-conference match Thursday night.
The Lions scored four goals in the first half and added two more in the second.
Alex Bilka of Penn State Behrend highlighted the night with a hat trick. She scored in the 10th, 35th, and 67th minute.
Megan Schwartz added two goals: one in the 32nd and again in the 78th minute. Olivia Belack netted the sixth goal.
Titan sophomore goalkeeper
Laura Page (Bethel Park, PA / Bethel Park) gave up four goals, while earning three saves, in 48:05 minutes of work.
The Lions improved to 11-7 overall, while the Titans dropped to 12-3-2 overall. Westminster had nine shots on goal, led by senior
Rebecca Bradnam (Irwin, PA / Hempfield) with three.
For the game, Penn State out-shot the Titans, 18-13.
Westminster will finish out the regular season on Saturday with a road game at Waynesburg University with a 2 p.m. start time.
