WASHINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team lost, 3-1, at Washington & Jefferson College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) contest Tuesday night.
The Presidents (14-1-1, 8-0-0 PAC) held a 2-0 halftime lead after a goal at the 25:26 and 34:21 marks, respectively. Jordan Toohey and Josie Madden were the scorers.
Titan junior
Rylie Shaw (Pickerington, OH / Pickerington North) cut W&J's lead to 2-1 with a goal in the 53rd minute. Shaw now has three goals on the year.
Mariah Lockard extended the Presidents' lead to 3-1 with a late goal at the 88:12 mark.
Titan sophomore goalkeeper
Laura Page (Bethel Park, PA / Bethel Park) went 90:00 minutes, while earning three saves.
Westminster (12-2-2, 5-2-1 PAC) will next host Penn State Behrend on Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The Titans will then play at Waynesburg in their final regular season game on Saturday with a 2 p.m. start time.
