Women's Soccer: Titans Play Undefeated Mount Union to a Scoreless Tie

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team played to a 0-0 tie after two overtimes against visiting Mount Union Wednesday in nonconference action. The Titans are now 0-1-1 on the season and the Purple Raiders are now 3-0-1.

Junior goalkeeper Jenn Cantella (Freedom, Pa./Freedom) registered her 11th career shutout for Westminster by making nine saves. Mount Union goalkeeper Taryn Vespoint also made nine saves for a shutout.

Westminster outshot Mount Union 11-7.

The Titans return to action at John Carroll Sept. 15 at 7 p.m.
