NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team tied visiting Penn State Behrend on Tuesday, 1-1, in non-conference action after the teams went scoreless through two overtime periods.

Westminster (8-4-1) scored first when junior forward Sarah Nee (McMurray, Pa./Peters Township) netted a goal in the 27th minute on an assist from sophomore Hayley Ebersbacher (Chesterland, Ohio/West Geauga). The goal was Nee's team-leading ninth marker of the season.

Penn State Behrend (6-2-3) knotted the game in the 47th minute when Jackie Stottlemyer beat Westminster freshman goalkeeper Jenn Cantella (Freedom, Pa./Freedom).

Cantella made three saves as Westminster held an 11-9 shot advantage. Behrend goalkeeper Kayla Frost made six saves.

Westminster returns to action at home Saturday vs. Chatham beginning at 2 p.m.
