NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team lost 3-0 against visiting Grove City its regular-season finale Saturday in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action at Harold Burry Stadium. The Titans (13-6-1, 4-3 PAC) will be the fourth-seeded team in next week's PAC Tournament as they will have a rematch with No. 1 seed Grove City (10-5-3, 7-0 PAC) at Grove City on Tuesday.
Grove City scored in the opening two minutes when Emily Ostlund scored off a rebound. The Wolverines went up 2-0 just before halftime when Michelle Peck headed in a goal from Hannah Yang. Grove City scored the final goal in the 69th minute when Morgan Osterhouse beat Westminster freshman goalkeeper Jenn Cantella (Freedom, Pa./Freedom).
Cantella made eight saves, while Grove City goalie Bethany Preston made five stops for the shutout.
The game time for Tuesday's PAC semifinal game at Grove City will be announced Monday.
