NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team held a team scoreless for the fourth time in six matches this season as the Titans played to a 0-0 tie in double overtime against visiting Penn State Behrend Saturday.
The Titans (4-0-2) out-shot the Lions (1-3-2) by a 24-11 margin, as junior midfielder Christina Adams (Hubbard, Ohio./Hubbard) attempted 11 shots.
Sophomore goalkeeper Lindsey Mellott (Cortland, Ohio/Lakeview) was strong in net for the Titans with 13 saves.
Westminster returns to action at home against Pitt-Greensburg Tuesday at 4 p.m.
