Westminster College Athletics

Shannon Liposky begins her 15th year as an assistant coach for the Westminster volleyball team in 2021.
 
Liposky, formerly Shannon Simmons, played at Westminster before graduating in 2002 with a degree in elementary education. She then stayed on with the program for an additional year as a graduate assistant coach before finishing her master’s degree in education in 2005.
 
A three-year starter at right side hitter for the Titans from 1998-2001, Liposky was team MVP as a senior while leading the Titans to a 27-8 record. Shannon was a member of the ECAC Championship Team as well as the ECAC MVP and in the TITAN Hall of Fame.
 
She and her husband, Rob, daughter, Claire, and son, Zane, reside in her hometown of East Palestine, Ohio.
