West begins her third season as assistant coach for the 2020 season.
West was a decorated volleyball player at Iowa State University, recently graduating in December of 2017. West was an All-Big 12 First Team recipient senior season and All-Big 12 Second Team honoree junior year. West was also a two-time Academic All-Big 12 First team honoree, five-time Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll recipient and AVCA All-Midwest Region player senior season. West appeared in over 100 career-matches at Iowa State and ranked second on the Cyclones in kills with 288 her senior season. West also led Iowa State in hitting percentage (.294) her senior year and set the Iowa State record in hitting percentage her sophomore year with a .352 mark.
West, an Omaha, Nebraska native, graduated from Omaha North high school and won three consecutive Starling National Championships with the Omaha Starling 181’s club team.
West graduated with a child, adult and family services degree and currently resides in New Wilmington.
