Kaelyn Puhalla begins her first season as a member of head coach Girish Thakar's staff in 2023.
Puhalla graduated from Westminster in 2020 with bachelor's degrees in business administration and sports management. She earned a master of business administration (MBA) from the College in 2021. Puhalla was a four-year member of Westminster's soccer program, appearing in 55 career matches. She scored 14 career goals, including four game-winners, and added two assists.
A four-year letter winner at Austintown Fitch High School, Puhalla was named team captain as a junior and senior. She holds the program's single season and all-time assists records.
Before returning to Westminster, Puhalla served as an assistant girl's varsity coach at Lordstown High School and the head junior varsity coach and assistant girl's coach at North High School. She also served as a girl's assistant coach with the NEO United Soccer Academy in Hudson, Ohio.
Puhalla resides in Youngstown, Ohio.
