Abby Spriggs begins her second season with the Westminster women's lacrosse team as an assistant coach in 2021.
Abby was a four-year letterwinner at Presidents' Athletic Conference school Thiel College. She majored in media communications with a minor in public relations. Abby was on the Dean's List and the PAC Academic Honor Roll.
She was the assistant girls coach at Shaler Area High School in 2017, where she facilitated and strategized the development of players, practice plans, and overall team strategy. She also assisted with travel, recruitment, alumni events, fundraising, and community service events.
Prior to Thiel, Abby played for multiple recreational and club teams in Maryland and at Westminster High School - where she played goalie. Abby was a college teammate of current Westminster head coach Bethany Snider and coached high school lacrosse with Bethany at Shaler.
