Biography
2021-22:
- All-PAC First Team
- Won the 4x400 relay at the PAC Championship with a time of 3:21.52
- Runner-up in the 400m at the PAC Championship with a time of 50.16
- Placed seventh in the 200m at the PAC Championship with a time of 22.66
2020-21:
- Helped the team finish with a season-best 3:35.97 in the 4x400-relay in the PAC Championship
2019-2020:
- All-PAC Honorable Mention
- Was a part of the third-place 4x400 team at the Indoor PAC Championships with a time of 3:32.98
- Placed 14th in the 400 meter dash at the Indoor PAC Championships with a time of 53.22
- Earned a second-year letter
2018-2019:
- Outdoor - Ran a career-best time of 23.86 in the 200 meter dash at the Westminster InvitationalÂ
- Ran a career-best time of 50.48 in the 400 meter dash at the PAC Outdoor Championships to finish third
- Earned a first-year letter
High School:
- Four-year varsity letter winner in swimming under coaches Matthew Woods and Kylie Turner at Cocalico H.S
- All-State Honorable Mention in the 400 free relay sophomore year, All-State 400 relay junior year and All-State 200 free relay and All-State Honorable Mention 100 free senior year
- Swimming personal records - 50 free/21.82, 100 free/48.22, 200 free/1:48.72, 200 IM/2:04.84
- Swam for three L-L Section II championship teams, breaking the school record in the 400 freestyle relay junior year
- Earned PIAA District III champion runner-up junior season
- Was awarded the Cocalico Outstanding Male Athlete award, PIAA District III Academic Excellence award and Distinguished Honors award senior year
Personal:
- Engineering physics major
- Has two older siblings named Lydia and Rachel
- Sister Rachel currently plays field hockey for Easter Mennonite University
- Chose Westminster because the swim team felt like family and the small, close atmosphere the college provides
- Started playing sports at the age of 10
- Has been on mission trips to Keyser, Guatemala, Hindman, Kentucky, and Clarksville, Georgia as well as volunteered with the West Virginia YWAM
- Aspires to be a mechanical engineer one day
