Three-year letterman . . . second team all-PAC as a junior (2007) with second-place finishes at PAC Championships in the 200 (1:26.21), 400 (3:09.70) and 800 (school-record 6:57.42) freestyle relays . . . also all-PAC honorable mention with third-place time of 1:44.91 in 200 freestyle . . . placed third in the 200 freestyle (1:45.74) at the PAC Championships as a sophomore (2006) . . . also a member of the PAC champion 800 freestyle relay team (6:59.31) . . . was named all-PAC second team in 500 freestyle (4:50.35) as a freshman (2005) . . . placed third in the 200 freestyle (1:45.26) and fifth in the 100 freestyle (48.04) at PACs . . . also part of three PAC champion relay teams (200-400-800 freestyle) . . . personal: birthday is July 2 . . . son of Jack and Cindy Benoit . . . one brother, one sister.
