Coach Rashad Wheeler enters his first season at Westminster as the Defensive Line coach.
Wheeler graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2020. Where he was a 3-year letterman at Defensive Tackle, as well as a Fullback for the Panthers, he was a member of Pitt's first ACC Coastal Championship team.
In high school, Wheeler was one of the most decorated linemen in Pennsylvania. He was selected All-State Class AAAA by the Pennsylvania Football Writers, first team Pennsylvania Football News All-Class AAAA, named to the Pennsylvania Football News 2015 #TeamPA, which recognized the best players in the state regardless of school classification, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette "Fabulous 22," Pittsburgh Tribune-Review "Terrific 25," and All-Northern Eight. He led Central Catholic to a 15-1 record, the WPIAL Class AAAA championship, and the PIAA title as a senior. He had a critical six-yard interception return for a touchdown in the WPIAL championship game, a 24-17 win over Penn-Trafford. He was rated Pennsylvania's No. 15 overall prospect by Scout, No. 18 by Rivals, No. 19 by ESPN, and No. 22 by 247Sports. He was selected to play in the Big 33 Football Classic.
Wheeler graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with his Bachelor's degree in Communications and Rhetoric and is now pursuing his Master's at Westminster College.
