Brice Butler '25 joined the Westminster football staff in 2025 as a graduate assistant, working with the safeties. He brings firsthand experience as a four-year starter and decorated defensive back for the Titans, along with a strong record of leadership and involvement throughout the Westminster community. He is currently pursuing a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a concentration in general management.
Butler enjoyed one of the most accomplished defensive careers in recent Westminster football history, earning First Team All-Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) honors in each of his final three seasons after receiving Honorable Mention All-PAC recognition as a freshman. He made 11 starts as a senior, totaling 48 tackles (35 solo), a pair of interceptions and six passes defended. Butler returned an interception 76 yards for a touchdown in Westminster's win at Allegheny and was honored as the PAC Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) Scholar-Athlete of the Month for September. He tied his career high with eight stops in a season-opening victory over Waynesburg. Butler was also a two-time Allstate American Football Coaches Association (AFCA) Good Works Team nominee, a 2023 D3football.com Preseason Third Team All-American and a 2022 and 2023 D3football.com All-Region selection.
Butler finished his career with 15 interceptions, including six interceptions in 2022, and returned five interceptions for touchdowns.
A native of Farrell, Pa., Butler has been equally impactful away from the football field. He served as Westminster's SAAC football representative and was involved with the Black Student Union (BSU) and NAACP. His community involvement included volunteering with the Lawrence County Special Olympics, Farrell Football Boosters, youth and high school football programs, community clean-up days, Toys for Tots and blood drives. He also continued to give back to his hometown by coaching with the Farrell youth and high school football programs.
Butler earned a bachelor's degree in marketing and professional sales from Westminster in 2025.
