Westminster falls at Allegheny

MEADVILLE, Pa.--The Westminster women's tennis team suffered a 7-0 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) loss at Allegheny Monday evening. 

Westminster fell to 2-4 overall and 2-3 in the PAC. Allegheny improved to 2-0 overall and 2-0 in league play. 

In doubles action, senior Emma Overlingas (Pittsburgh, Pa., Baldwin) and freshman Aurelia Hall (Milford, Ohio, Ursuline Academy) fell 6-2 at No. 1 while sophomore Megan Blasko (Mercer, Pa., Pennsylvania Cyber Charter) and freshman Amayah Myricks (Canton, Ohio, Jackson) dropped a 6-3 decision at No. 2. 

In singles play, Myricks fell 6-4, 6-1 at No. 2 while Hall was dealt a 6-3, 6-0 loss at No. 4. 

Up next:
Westminster will host Saint Francis next Tuesday, Oct. 6. Doubles matches are scheduled to get underway at 4 p.m.
