Titans seventh at YSU Collegiate Invitational

BOARDMAN, Ohio--The Westminster women's cross country team finished in seventh place at Saturday's Youngstown State Collegiate Invitational.

The six-kilometer, 83-runner event was held at the Gorby Family Championship Cross Country Course at the Mill Creek MetroParks Farm.

Robert Morri senior Julia Dill finished as the individual winner with a time of 21 minutes, 28.30 seconds. The Colonials won the invitational with 24 points. Westminster was seventh with 199 points.

Freshman Kelsi Lott (Leechburg, Pa., Kiski) crossed the line in 25:22.15, finishing in 29th place. Sophomore Callie Reaugh (Blairsville, Pa., River Valley) was 52nd with a time of 27:45.43 while freshman Tessa Ward (Erie, Pa., Harbor Creek) finished 66th with a time of 29:24.86. Sophomore Gabby Armlin (Middleburgh, N.Y., Middleburg Central) was 72nd (30:54.44) and sophomore Abby Perrine (Grove City, Pa., Grove City) was 76th (31:46.84).

Up next:
Westminster will compete at the Carnegie Mellon Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 10. The five-kilometer event will be held at Youthtowne in Clinton, Pa.
