Titans eighth at Allegheny's Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Memorial

MEADVILLE, Pa.--The Westminster men's golf team registered an eighth-place finish at Allegheny's Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invitational. The two-day, 12-team event was held at the Country Club of Meadville.

John Carroll won the team title with a team score of 561, following Sunday's 281 with a 280 on Monday. Westminster finished with a score of 615, shooting a 306 on Sunday and a 309 Monday. Allegheny sophomore Christopher Hoffman won the individual title with a two-round score of 137. He shot a five-under 67 on Sunday and a two-under 70 Monday.

Senior Tyler Hager (Lehighton, Pa., Palmerton) finished in a three-way tie for eighth place, recording a two-round score of 145. He followed Sunday's even-par 72 with a one-over 73 on Monday. Sophomore Brody Pirt (Cranberry Township, Pa., Seneca Valley) posted a two-day score of 154, finishing in a three-way tie for 31st. He shot a three-over 75 Monday after a 79 on Sunday, climbing 12 spots on the individual leaderboard. Freshman Julian Bolino (Warren, Ohio, John F. Kennedy) and senior Jon Haddox (Bethel Park, Pa., Bethel Park) finished in a four-way tie for 44th after carding 159s. Bolino registered a five-over 77 Sunday before Monday's round of 82. Haddox shot a 79 Monday after an 80 on Sunday. Freshman Jaxon Rozanski (Ellwood City, Pa., Lincoln) finished tied for 48th with a 160, following Sunday's 78 with an 82 on Monday.

Westminster will travel to the Black Rock Golf Course in Hagerstown, Md. Saturday and Sunday for the Cardinal Fall Classic, hosted by Catholic.
