Bork named PAC Player of the Week

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster senior Colin Bork (Pittsburgh, Pa., Shaler) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Tennis Player of the Week Monday afternoon.

It is Bork's first PAC weekly award.

Bork earned singles wins against Franciscan and Thiel to fuel Westminster's 2-0 week. He registered a 6-2, 6-2 victory over Esteban Webber-Bernal at No. 5 singles Thursday to help preserve a 4-3 win over Franciscan. Bork and junior Hayden Kenny (Pittsburgh, Pa., Keystone Oaks) sealed the doubles point against the Barons by securing a 7-5 decision over David Bourdelais and Webber-Bernal at the No. 2 spot. Thursday's win was Westminster's first-ever against Franciscan. The Titans entered the match 0-9 all-time against the Barons. Bork cruised to a 6-1, 6-0 win at No. 3 singles over Trey Grazier to lock in Saturday's 5-2 victory over Thiel after winning by forfeit in doubles action.

Westminster is scheduled to host Saint Vincent on Tuesday, with doubles action beginning at 4 p.m.
