TRAFFORD, Pa.--The Westminster College men's tennis program was picked to finish sixth in this year's Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll, which was recently released along with the league's Players to Watch List.

The preseason coaches' poll was voted on by the PAC's nine head coaches.

Led by second-year head coach Mike Blasko, Westminster totaled 28 points in the poll. The Titans finished their 2024-25 season 5-8 overall and 3-5 in the conference.

Allegheny, winners of three-straight PAC titles, earned eight first-place votes and 64 points to secure the poll's top spot. Grove City, last year's championship tournament runner-up, was second, claiming the final first-place vote and 56 points. Saint Vincent was third (46), Franciscan was fourth (44) and W&J was fifth (36). Geneva was seventh (27), Waynesburg was eighth (15) and Thiel was ninth (8).

Five Westminster players were mentioned in this year's Player's to Watch List: graduate student Rick Ladjevich (West Middlesex, Pa., West Middlesex), senior Colin Bork (Pittsburgh, Pa., Shaler), junior Hayden Kenny (Pittsburgh, Pa., Keystone Oaks), sophomore William Nebiolo (Glenshaw, Pa., Shaler) and freshman Aydan Gross (Mount Pleasant, Pa., Mount Pleasant ) were all recognized.

Nebiolo was named Second Team All-PAC at No. 1 doubles last fall with partner Dylan Weiss. The duo went 3-6 overall and finished 3-5 in the PAC. Nebiolo was also named Honorable Mention All-PAC at No. 4 singles. He wrapped up his first season at Westminster going 5-6 overall and 3-4 in the league.

The league's six-team championship tournament will once again feature a team championship bracket format, including quarterfinals, semifinals and a championship match contested in late April.

The conference regular season is scheduled to conclude Saturday, April 20 with this year's PAC Championship Tournament quarterfinals slated for Tuesday, April 21. The semifinals are scheduled for Thursday, April 23 with the championship match taking place on Saturday, April 25. All matches will be hosted by the higher-seeded schools throughout the championship tournament.

The team champion will secure the PAC's automatic qualifying bid to the Division III Championships.

Westminster opens its conference season at home against Franciscan on Thursday, March 19. The match is set to start at 4 p.m.
