Nominate for the Titan Sports Hall of Fame

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.--The Westminster College Department of Athletics is now accepting nominations for the Titan Sports Hall of Fame Class of 2026.

An individual may be nominated in two ways:
1.) Submit an online nomination here.
2.) Complete the printable nomination form and submit it with the required supporting documentation to:

Nominations submitted by Friday, May 1 will be considered for the upcoming class. Any nominations submitted after will be considered for future selections.

The Class of 2026 will be inducted during a dinner and celebratory ceremony Friday, Sept. 11 inside the McKelvey Campus Center. This year's class will also be introduced at halftime of Saturday's football game against Franklin & Marshall. The members of the Class of 2026 will be permanently recognized within the Titan Sports Hall of Fame installation in the Grover Washabaugh Lobby and Darwin Huey Heritage Center, located in Memorial Field House. Tickets will go on sale for this year's Titan Sports Hall of Fame Induction Dinner and Ceremony on May 1. Dinner tickets for adults are $35 and $10 for children.

Nominees may include athletes, coaches, or anyone else who has made outstanding contributions to varsity athletics at Westminster. Nominations must be made by Westminster alumni and current, or former, members of Westminster's coaching staff. Nominees must:
1.) Be a Westminster College graduate.
2.) Have graduated at least eight (8) years prior for the nomination to be considered.
3.) Have earned at least two (2) letters in the same sport.
4.) Receive nominations from at least two (2) people.
5.) Non-athletes must also be nominated by at least two (2) people.

Nominees not selected will remain on the ballot for one (1) additional year.

Members of the Class of 2025 included former Titan standouts: Traci (Hassell) Westrem '08, Chris Hawthorne '09, Tim Wiand '12, Haley (Gabor) Welsh '14, Nick Fiorentino '14, Marissa (Kalsey) Thomas '16 and longtime athletic trainer Shaun Toomey, who was honored with the prestigious Meritorious Service award, which recognizes individuals for their outstanding and enduring service to the College and the Department of Athletics.
