O'Brien named PAC Offensive Player of the Week

TRAFFORD, Pa.--Westminster junior Morgan O'Brien (Pittsburgh, Pa., Our Lady of the Sacred Heart) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Women's Volleyball Offensive Player of the Week Monday afternoon.

This is O'Brien's second-straight PAC Offensive Player of the Week award.

O'Brien posted a pair of triple doubles last week, helping Westminster go 2-0 while running its win streak to four-straight matches. She averaged 3.63 kills, 5.25 assists and 4.63 digs per set in four-set victories over Hiram and Bethany. O'Brien hit .286 and finished with 16 kills, 20 assists and 21 digs Wednesday at Hiram before totaling 13 kills, 22 assists and 16 digs Saturday against Bethany.

The triple doubles were her seventh and eighth this season. The eight triple doubles rank third in Division III this season. O'Brien's 12 career triple doubles are the most among active Division III leaders.
